Dismaland
On Sunday I visited Banksy's Dismaland in The Tropicana, Weston-Super-Mare. The artist has created a 'bemusement park', a dark and dismal Disneyland.

Chocolate Makes You Large
These are a few designs I have produced from chocoate wrappers slightly changing the names to make people think about the health issues related to chocolate
As you can see (I hope) This is my version of KitKat. Get it?
This one is my Twirl. Not quite as funny but very informative about the ingrdients and health effects associated with chocolate
I will print these on frabric and design some ways of using these prints in high street stores.

Chocolate!
My newest set project is to write my own brief to the theme Chocolate!
My initial ideas are looking at chocolate wrappers and packaging as there are so many different colours, types, images and textures of chocolate wrapping.
I have looked at other dresses made entirely from confectionery packaging.
I particularly like this idea as wrappers are being recycled and made into dresses, as well as them being aestetically pleasing.
As I do not have a lot of time to complete this project, I have decided that producing a garment from chocolate wrappers is not realistic in the time given.

Winde Rienstra
I came across a designer who's work is incredible. In this collection, Winde Rienstra explores the correlations between clothing and objects. She uses structural materials such as wire, boning, plastics, leather and even wood to create the body form and exagerated shoulders. I also love how she has styled the models with simple white make-up to compliment the pure neutral colour pallet in her designs
